TubryaThese terms apply to the YouTube™ to Text - Tubrya browser extension, the website tubrya.app and the related services (together, "Tubrya"). By using Tubrya you agree to them.
1. What Tubrya does
Tubrya shows the captions of YouTube videos as a transcript, lets you download them, and offers AI summaries and answers based on those captions. Tubrya is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by YouTube or Google. YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC.
2. Your account
AI features require signing in with a Google account. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age in your country, to use Tubrya.
3. Plans and payment
- The Free plan includes a daily allowance of AI uses. We may change the allowance with notice in the extension.
- Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription sold through Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record. Their buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
- Pro renews automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time under Manage subscription in Settings, and Pro remains active until the end of the paid period.
- Pro includes 60 AI uses a day to keep the service fair for everyone.
- Lifetime is a one-time payment that includes 40 AI uses a day for as long as Tubrya is offered. It is limited to the first 50 buyers. If we ever close Tubrya within 24 months of your purchase, we'll refund a share of the price for the remaining months.
- Refunds follow our refund policy.
4. License
The Tubrya extension, its code, design, texts, images and videos belong to Tubrya and are protected by copyright. We give you a personal, non-transferable license to install and use the extension as distributed through the Chrome Web Store. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, resell or republish the extension or any part of it, create derivative works from it, or use the Tubrya name or logo, without our written permission.
4a. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use automated tools, scripts or shared accounts to get around usage limits;
- attack, overload, reverse engineer or resell the Tubrya service;
- use Tubrya to break the law or anyone's rights, including copyright.
5. Content and copyright
Video captions belong to their owners. Tubrya displays them for your personal use, such as reading, studying, accessibility and note taking. You are responsible for how you use transcripts and summaries, including respecting copyright and YouTube's terms when you share or publish them.
6. AI output
Summaries and answers are generated automatically and can contain mistakes. They are not professional, legal, medical or financial advice. Check important information against the original video.
7. Availability
We work to keep Tubrya running, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or work with every video. YouTube may change its site in ways that temporarily affect the extension. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue Pro, we'll refund the unused part of your current period.
8. Ending use
You can stop using Tubrya and remove the extension at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
9. Liability
Tubrya is provided "as is". To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for important changes, show a notice in the extension. Continuing to use Tubrya means you accept the updated terms.
